Marissa Lloyd is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH), certified trauma practitioner, and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who is passionate about providing nurturing practices that best serve children, adolescents, and their families.

As the Founder, Clinical Director, and President of Resilient Kids Child & Family Therapy, Marissa is dedicated to helping as many Delaware children and families as possible while training the next generation of child therapists.

Although Marissa no longer sees clients directly, she spends her time overseeing Resilient Kids' training program for interns and unlicensed clinicians, shaping the clinical depth and consistency of care that families experience across the practice. Her leadership reflects a lifelong commitment to building a team that is always learning, always growing, and always rooted in evidence-based, trauma-informed care for children.

Marissa's extensive clinical background includes 10 years of experience working exclusively with children and families across a wide range of settings, including not-for-profit mental health agencies, schools, mental health court, the State of Delaware Prevention and Behavioral Health Services, and pediatric primary care offices. This breadth of experience informs the holistic, family-centered philosophy that defines Resilient Kids today, and continues to guide her work with the clinicians she trains and supervises.

Outside her leadership role, Marissa's deep love for the children and families of Delaware shapes everything Resilient Kids stands for. Her vision for the practice is rooted in the belief that every family deserves access to compassionate, specialized care and that the future of child therapy depends on raising up clinicians who are equipped to walk alongside families with skill, warmth, and humility.
