Jailine Martinez is a Master's-level social work clinician who brings a deeply attuned, relationship-centered approach to her work with children, adolescents, and families.

With specialized expertise in trauma, attachment, and emotional and behavioral challenges, she creates a therapeutic space rooted in safety, trust, and unconditional acceptance, the conditions she believes are essential for real healing to happen. Jailine is particularly passionate about working with children and teens who have experienced trauma or who struggle with emotional regulation, as well as supporting the caregivers and families around them in understanding their child's emotional world and strengthening connections within the family system.

Her therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and strength-based, integrating play therapy, family therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. For children, play therapy provides a safe, developmentally appropriate way to express and make sense of experiences they may not have words for. For older children and teens, CBT and mindfulness offer practical tools for managing intense emotions and building regulation skills. Family therapy and caregiver collaboration are woven throughout her work, reflecting her belief that growth and healing are most powerful when they extend beyond the therapy room and into the relationships and routines of daily life.

With a Master's degree in Social Work and specialized training in trauma-informed care and play therapy, Jailine brings focused clinical expertise to some of the most complex experiences children can face. Her background includes working with children and adolescents impacted by trauma, including those involved in the foster care and adoption systems, and supporting families navigating complex relational and developmental challenges. This experience has shaped her into a therapist who understands that every child's story is different, and that effective therapy requires flexibility, patience, and a willingness to meet each person exactly where they are.

Outside the therapy room, Jailine is an adventurous traveler who loves engaging deeply with different cultures, attending traditional practices, and learning about local histories. Some of her most memorable experiences include swimming with manatees and exploring an ancient ceremonial cave. That same spirit of curiosity, openness, and genuine connection she brings to her travels is what clients experience in session: a therapist who shows up with respect, attunement, and a deep interest in understanding who you are.

  • Jailine's flexible, individualized approach means she adapts her methods to fit each client's unique needs, strengths, and pace rather than relying on a rigid framework. For children who have experienced trauma, that responsiveness can make the difference between therapy that feels safe and therapy that feels like one more demand.

  • Her strong emphasis on safety, trust, and relationship-building reflects her understanding that for trauma-impacted children especially, the therapeutic relationship itself is often the most healing part of the work. She invests in that foundation before asking a child to do anything difficult.

  • Jailine's commitment to collaborating with caregivers and families sets her apart. She offers practical guidance and support that helps extend the growth and regulation children build in therapy into their home, school, and community, ensuring that progress sticks.

"I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel safe to show up as they are. Healing happens through understanding, connection, and support, and I strive to meet each client with respect, attunement, and unconditional acceptance throughout their process."
