A Workplace That Supports, Inspires, and Elevates Therapists

Careers & Internships

We’re Hiring!

At Resilient Kids, therapy isn’t just a job—it’s a purpose. We’re a mission-driven group practice providing high-quality, evidence-based care to children, teens, and families across Delaware. From in-office sessions to nature-based therapy at our farm location—our commitment remains the same: to deliver innovative, culturally responsive, and deeply engaging care.

What It’s Really Like to Work Here:

Let’s talk about the things that truly matter—the stuff that shapes how it feels to show up for this work, every day.

We value integrity

We want therapists who take pride in their work. Who do what they say they’re going to do, who take initiative, and who care enough to follow through—even when no one’s watching. We’re building something real here, and we’re looking for people who feel like they’ve found the place they want to grow and stay.

We believe effort matters

Sometimes we’ll ask you to do things that take extra effort—like completing notes within 48 hours or giving a referral source a quick update on a mutual client. It might take a few minutes, but it reflects our integrity and our commitment to doing what’s right for the families we serve. That’s why local pediatricians, schools, and agencies continue to refer to us. We’ve earned their trust.

We believe in being real

We're not trying to be the biggest—we're trying to be the most authentic. And that attracts clinicians who feel like they’ve found home.

We believe in showing up for each other

We do things differently—on purpose. Whether it’s trauma-informed yoga at the farm or nature-based therapy with chickens, we’re always innovating. We believe in setting the bar high—not to compete, but to elevate the standard of care across Delaware. When we rise, so do the communities we serve.

We believe in inspiring one another

We believe the best care comes from a team that feels valued, supported, and energized. We don’t tolerate negativity. We hire people who are both skilled clinicians and good humans—because we want this to be a place where you feel proud to belong. You’ll inspire your clients, your coworkers, and the field itself.

We’re currently hiring for the roles below—and always looking for people who are passionate about making a difference.

Licensed Therapist & Clinical Supervisor In-Person, Office Based

Licensed Therapist & Clinical Supervisor In-Person, Office Based

Location: 801 Mapleton Avenue, Middletown, DE (Located in the Whitehall Wellness Center)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Schedule: 25 billable client hours/week, with clinical hours reduced per supervisee you supervise

Welcome to Resilient Kids Child & Family Therapy

Our Whitehall Wellness Center location in Middletown is a traditional outpatient setting—structured, in-office therapy with the support of a strong clinical team and full administrative backing. This role is exclusively for office-based clinical work and is not part of our farm-based or equine-assisted programs.

That said, we’re not your average outpatient practice. From equine-assisted psychotherapy to nature-based services at our farm, we take a whole-person approach to care—and we’re proud to be a hub of innovation, integration, and community impact.

You’ll be a vital part of that mission—providing exceptional therapy while mentoring unlicensed clinicians in our training program, helping to increase access to care for this generation and the next.

Why This Role Matters

We’re growing because the need in our community continues to grow—and we’re committed to meeting that need without compromising on quality. We believe every family who walks through our doors deserves a highly skilled therapist, and every new clinician deserves strong mentorship.

In this hybrid clinical + leadership role, you’ll help shape the future of the mental health field in Delaware. You’ll guide, support, and inspire the next generation of therapists—while staying grounded in your own meaningful client work.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a fully licensed clinician (LPCMH, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD) to join our Middletown team. This role includes a caseload of 25 billable client hours per week, with 2 clinical hours deducted per supervisee to allow time for supervision, documentation review, and consultation.

Licensed Therapist & Clinical Supervisor Nature-Based Therapy

nature based supervisor

Location: Buddy’s Place Farm, Middletown, DE
Type: 1099 Contractor
Schedule: 25 billable client hours per week, with clinical hours reduced proportionally based on the number of supervisees you support.

Welcome to Resilient Kids Child & Family Therapy

At Resilient Kids, therapy isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. We’re a mission-driven group practice dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to children, teens, and families across Delaware.

As part of our nature-based therapy program at Buddy’s Place—a  non-profit therapeutic farm in Middletown, DE—this role supports their mission to bring the benefits of agricultural-based therapy to children with disabilities. Through gardens, animals, and open space, we offer an inclusive environment where growth feels natural.

Our model blends traditional psychotherapy with hands-on, outdoor experiences like gardening, small animal care, and sensory-based interventions. While you’ll have access to an indoor office, most of your sessions will take place outdoors, using nature as both a setting and a tool for healing.

Whether it’s tending vegetables, feeding chickens, or engaging in structured farm routines, this work promotes self-regulation, responsibility, and genuine connection—especially for kids and teens who thrive outside traditional settings.

We welcome licensed therapists with backgrounds in gardening or animal care, as well as those who bring a strong interest and willingness to learn. If you’re eager to shift your clinical work outdoors, we’ll support you every step of the way.

In this role, you’ll also serve as a clinical supervisor—mentoring provisionally licensed therapists who are also part of the nature-based therapy program. Through weekly supervision, documentation review, and collaborative support, you’ll help shape confident, capable clinicians while continuing your own meaningful client work in one of the most restorative therapy settings available.

Why This Role Matters

We’re growing because the need in our community continues to grow—and we’re committed to meeting that need with creativity, compassion, and clinical excellence. As more families seek alternatives to traditional therapy settings, nature-based care offers a powerful path to healing through connection with animals, the land, and purposeful work.

At Resilient Kids, we believe every child deserves access to skilled, thoughtful therapy—and every emerging clinician deserves strong, supportive mentorship. In this hybrid clinical + leadership role, you’ll help shape the future of the mental health field in Delaware by guiding new therapists and delivering meaningful, farm-based care that meets kids where they are.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a fully licensed clinician (LPCMH, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD) to join our Middletown farm-based team. This role includes a caseload of 25 billable client hours per week, with clinical hours reduced proportionally based on the number of supervisees you support.

  • We expect excellence—evidence-based care, quality documentation, and clinical integrity.
